About Lending Clarity

My Goal

To bring clarity and insight to the discussion about mortgage financing.

The real estate bubble has burst and the mortgage industry is in crisis. As legislators scramble to prevent the meltdown from dragging the economy into recession, consumers are left to figure out how to buy, sell, or simply hang on to their homes in a market that has suddenly turned on them. My goal is to bring clarity, insight, and valuable information to those interested in the truth about mortgages and credit.

Bio

I’m a west coast guy, born in Seattle, transplanted to the San Francisco Bay Area and later to Central America. Before becoming a mortgage lender 18 years ago, I worked for a commercial real estate syndicator & financial planning company where I got my CFP. I then became a commercial real estate broker and sold office buildings, industrial parks, and shopping centers. I’ve been in Sacramento now for 25 years where I’ve been married to the same woman and raised two great kids who are both now in college.
